The extensive series of the Economist Intelligence Unit provide accurate up-to-the-minute assessments of the general economic situation in some one hundred and ninety countries. These have been published for the last fifty years as the Country Reports and Profiles, and as a series they constitute invaluable source material for the study of recent economic history. The Reports are concise. They aim to interpret the facts, not simply to report them. They also assess the current economic position. The essential content of each Report is summarised in a single introductory page; indicators of economic activity are charted for each country and an appendix provides a wide range of statistics.

On microfiche or 16mm microfilm.
